Miranda Castaneda, Nurse Practitioner

Mrs. Miranda Castaneda is a Family Nurse Practitioner. She was born in La Mesa, CA and grew up in a small, rural town called Brawley, CA. Prior to becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner, Mrs. Castaneda graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of North Carolina, Pembroke and worked as a Registered Nurse in various settings, to include: telemetry, wound care, and an outpatient clinic serving Active Duty Military Service Members on the Fort Bliss Military Installation in El Paso, TX. Mrs. Castaneda graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing through Chamberlain College of Nursing and is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Mrs. Castaneda believes her background and experience as a Registered Nurse has set the foundation for her practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner, which focuses on providing holistic, compassionate, and patient-centered care to underserved and vulnerable populations. Mrs. Castaneda focuses on empowering individuals about their health care and places priority on overall wellness and preventative measures in health care. Mrs. Castaneda is wholeheartedly enthusiastic about providing compassionate care and plans to continue building trustworthy relationships with patients, their families, and the community.
Mrs. Castaneda is proudly married to her husband of ten years, Roberto Castaneda Jr, who currently serves in the United States Army. Together, they have one child, and enjoy watching their son grow and learn every day. Mrs. Castaneda enjoys spending time with her family, maintaining a happy and healthy lifestyle, as well as traveling.
